2026 President's Welcome
From engaging scientific sessions to family-friendly activities, the SOA Annual Meeting will offer something for everyone. Our Annual Meeting Program Chair, Anna Cohen-Rosenblum, MD, has been hard at work designing a scientific program that will cover a wide variety of topics that will be relevant to your practice. Symposia this year will touch on cutting-edge topics including artificial intelligence and its impact on the practice of orthopaedic surgery. Attendees can expect specialty-specific sessions led by nationally recognized faculty as well as research presentations that cover a breadth of orthopaedic topics. Dr. Tom Fehring will also deliver a keynote address as our L. Andrew Koman, MD Distinguished Southern Orthopaedist. The Social Program will also not disappoint! Known as “America’s Resort,” The Greenbrier is a National Historic Landmark that has welcomed guests since 1778. It has hosted presidents, royalty, and leaders from around the world for over two centuries. The resort combines timeless Southern hospitality with world-class amenities. Golfers can choose from four championship courses, including The Old White (a PGA TOUR course) and the Greenbrier Course (host of the Ryder Cup in 1979). Other activities include indulging in natural mineral water experiences at the world-renowned spa, testing your luck at the elegant Casino Club, or enjoying family time in the outdoors fly fishing or horseback riding. There are unmatched recreational activities for the entire family. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience world-class education and southern collegiality at one of the most storied resorts in America. Mark your calendars and make plans now to join us this July!
