Newsletter Rate Sheet and Editorial Policy Tibia Tribune is the official newsletter of the Southern Orthopaedic Association (SOA).
The mission of the Southern Orthopaedic Association is to foster a continuing medical education program so as to promote and assure the highest quality of musculoskeletal care; to provide a source for new and continued socialization among its members and their families; to assist where appropriate the state, regional and national orthopaedic societies. Membership in SOA consists of medical doctors, doctors of osteopathy, and allied health professionals who specialize in the practice of orthopaedics.
The purpose of Tibia Tribune is to inform and educate members and others interested in orthopaedic issues in the Southern states as they affect members and their patients.
CIRCULATION:
Tibia Tribune is distributed to the 1,200 SOA members and to interested others, such as SOA staff, other medical association staff, and representatives of companies related to orthopaedics. EDITORIAL POLICY:
Articles for Tibia Tribune are solicited in support of the SOA mission. Submissions should be no longer than 250 words in length, and the SOA reserves the right to edit content and otherwise limit inclusion of copy based on space availability and relevance of subject matter. Tibia Tribune encourages advertising of products or services which promote and enhance an environment consistent with the SOA's mission. Such products and services could include educational materials and courses, medical office supplies, medical instruments, equipment and pharmaceuticals. SOA reserves the right to review ad content for publication suitability and to insert the word "ADVERTISEMENT" to differentiate advertising text from editorial copy, if necessary. SOA also reserves the right to refuse ads which do not conform to size specifications, are not presented by issue deadlines, or are not presented as "camera-ready." Advertisements may be printed in black or color, and will be accepted on a prepaid basis only. All prices are net. All advertisements are accepted with the understanding that the advertiser is authorized to publish the contents and the subject matter of the advertisement. The advertiser will indemnify and hold harmless the Southern Orthopaedic Association from any legal claims or suits based on the advertising. SOA reserves the right to control ad placement, as well as number of ads accepted for each issue.

SOA offers sponsorship of each edition of Tibia Tribune at a rate of $2000.00 per issue. If sponsored, the edition will include no display advertising from competing companies. This does not apply to classified advertisements from physician members, non-members or medical associations. Tibia Tribune accepts advertising in writing only, by publication deadlines. Statements of facts, opinions, and omissions thereof, are the responsibility of the advertiser solely. SOA does not verify the truth or accuracy of advertiser's claims. When advertising positions available, please list: position title, responsibilities, location, closing date for applications, and contact person, address, and phone.
